How to Set Up
Follow these simple steps to get your automation system up and running
Copy the Spreadsheet
Make a copy of the Website Speed Monitor template to your Google Drive
Click the 'Copy Spreadsheet' button to create your own copy. This makes you the owner and allows the automation to work properly.
Create Automation Triggers
Set up the automated data collection system
Go to the custom menu '🟡 PageSpeed' and click 'Create Trigger'. This creates two triggers: one for new websites and another for daily updates.
Authorize the Script
Grant permissions for the automation to access PageSpeed Insights
The first time you run the trigger creation, you'll be prompted to authorize the script. This allows it to fetch performance data from Google's PageSpeed Insights API.
Confirm Setup Success
Verify that triggers were created successfully
You'll see a popup message '✅ Triggers created successfully!' confirming that your automation is ready to work.
Add Your Websites
Start monitoring by adding website URLs to track
Simply paste your website URLs in column A. The system will automatically fetch and populate all performance metrics within a few seconds.
